The fourth week of March was a very interesting one. This is because team members of the foundation engaged in a team bonding exercise like never before.
A Charity match was set up amongst team members on friday, 25th March 2022. The team was split into 2 football teams namely Team Valhalla and Team Mario ( these are names of two of our trustees in the foundation). It was a very interesting game, one that team members and even our supporters would never forget in a hurry. Pictures and highlights from the march can be found on our social media platforms.
Despite the Charity match, our weekly schedule in the foundation was also carried out. Cases from our beneficiaries were tended to. One of the cases handled was rent and school fees payment. The beneficiary needed assistance to complete her rent and also pay for her son’s school fees. Her requests were tended to and the sum of N100,000 was disbursed for that cause.
Also, the sum of N40,000 was spent on an expectant mother. She wrote to the foundation soliciting for help to pay antenatal bills and also procure some baby items. The foundation came through after all necessary investigations had been concluded.
There are a few pending cases from our mailbox that are undergoing investigations and would be closed once all information aligns.
We would be Decluttering For Charity in two communities in Abuja ( Tudunwada and Karamajiji). We are imploying supporters to bring in good clothes, shoes, bags and household items for residents in these communities. For more information, kindly visit our instagram and twitter page.
