The third week of October started off with series of mail requests and cases to be tended to.
To begin the week, a health case requesting for the sum of N20,000 was treated by the foundation. The recipient had a case of low blood sugar that needed urgent treatment and the foundation came through.
Another interesting case tended to was business support. A woman wrote to the foundation requesting for business support for her coal business. Following all necessary investigation, the woman was given the sum of N50,000 to revive her business. Still on business support, a large sum of N200,000 was given to a couple to startup a business and also take care of themselves. Both families were so excited and prayed for the foundation and all her team members.
Also, another sum of N50,000 was disbursed and channeled into shopping for a pregnant mother about to deliver her baby. Her joy knew no bounds.
We understand that times are really hard and most people just want to have what to eat daily. It was on this note that the sum of N70,000 was spent on feeding amongst two beneficiaries.
While one was given N20,000 for handout and feeding, the other was given N50,000 for feeding.
The 20:10:20 memorial was marked on Tuesday across states. This was in celebration of the Nigerian youths we lost during last year’s #EndSARS protest. The SIRF board members released a memo instructing her staff to stay home and be safe. The safety of team members is always at the top of the list. However, cases and work were treated form the comfort of our homes.
