The year is gradually running to an end as we have walked into the month of September.
The events of the year have given us countless reasons why humanitarian services are important and has to be doubled. With the current economic situation of the country, it gets difficult for people to survive especially those in the grassroot level.
Still I Rise foundation, with her dedicated team members tries her best to help as much people at a time. The past week has been quite engaging as our emails buzzed with tons of help mails. We cannot help everyone but one person at a time.
Hence, the sum of N70,000 was spent on an empowerment programme as a sewing machine was procured for a young lady with vast knowledge in fashion designing. This has not just empowered her but has also given her a means of providing for her family.
Subsequently, the sum of N30,000 was disbursed on the 2nd of September in payment of school fees for a recipient who wrote to the foundation soliciting for help.
The last few days of August are not left out. A recipient who was downcast and needed help with his rent and business was assisted. His joy knew no bounds as the sum of N250,000 was invested in his case. Another sum of N90,000 was spent on medical bills of two beneficiaries while N30,000 was disbursed for feeding to another recipient.

It was a flashback Friday as the Social Media team of the foundation took us back to July 15th when we had our skills competition/exhibition. This video is so colourful (literally) as the participants brought their A-game. Missed the event and live stream? Then come with me to our instagram page as we take a good look at the recap of the event.
Don’t forget to subscribe to all our social media platforms so as to be abreast of all the activities, opportunities and benefits as they unfold at the foundation.
