“All the flowers of all the tomorrows are in the seeds of today” ~Proverb
There was once a female traveler who always carried two bags with her, anywhere she went. In those bags she had flower seeds. Anytime she traveled or walked by a new place, she would throw these seeds around her. People wondered why she did it.
“It’s a lifetime habit of mine,” she’d say. “I’ll probably never come here again, but by spreading the flower seeds I leave something beautiful behind that people who come here can enjoy. It doesn’t matter that they don’t know me personally. All that matters is that by doing this, I’ll make someone happy.”
What if we all had this philosophy in life?
Imagine just how beautiful and happy we all can be
Do you ever think of contributing to the world in a significant way?
Maybe like me, you walk around with thoughts in your head on how to change the world in some way, shape or form. but you’re not doing anything about it right now. Why? You think it would make no difference or you’re too small.
This is an excuse we make all the time. It doesn’t stop there. Your excuse could be that of time, money, or thinking your contribution is too small to get noticed. This is a limiting belief.
What’s worse? The thoughts that there’ll be a perfect day, when you’ve achieved your goals or whatever your heart desires and that only then can you follow your heart and contribute to this world, or allow yourself some form of happiness.
You have to understand that all you really have is today. And you’re better off making it count because it’s the only “sure” thing.
Each day is an opportunity to take a tiny step and start contributing to the world or your happiness.
Instead of waiting till you’re big enough to make the whole world happy, you can spread happiness around your inner circle.
Instead of thinking about how powerless you are to help the world on a big scale—try getting started with small things.
Stop waiting for the perfect time, or day or when you’re best placed to help make someone happy.
Even Jesus started with 12 apostles… Look how far his gospel has gone.
Feeling inspired… Here’s your chance to contribute in your own little way and sow a seed in someone’s life.
