Seek Gods face over him/her,
Everyone has an idea how they want their future partner to be. We imagine how we want our homes ran. We day dream of the perfection we expect. When someone comes into our life for the first time, we talk everyday, get to know eachother, most times we just find ourselves already in love and often times we jump into relationship with them because we feel we know them. This shouldn’t be so. In making decisions of who to be with, it is imperative we pray before entering into any relationship and eventually marriage. Yes, in this generation of ours, prayer is usually the last thing on our mind when looking to settle and this shouldn’t be so. We should always involve God in our plan and decision, we should ask him to reveal that person to us as you can never really know who a person is truly.
When seeking to settle, bring the matter to the Almighty, let him reveal himself to you.
These are some bible verses with which you can pray with:
1. Mark 11:24 KJV
Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
2: Ecclesiastes 4:9 -11 KJV
Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour
For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up
Again, if two lie together, then they have heat: but how can one be warm alone?”
And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken.
3: Proverbs 18:22 KJV
Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favour of the Lord.
4: Psalms 37:4 KJV
Delight thyself also in the Lord; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.
5: Matthew 19:4-6 KJV
And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female
And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh?
Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.
6: Genesis 2:18 KJV
And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.
When you pray and involve God, he will reveal your partner to you. You do not need to go see a Prophet or Alfa. Pick out a week, do your fasting, accompany it with prayer, singing and his words. Ask him to open your to see the person you intend to be with beyond what they show you. Often times, you’d dream or get a revelation of who he or she is.
This helps you either go ahead or not. Either way, you’d save yourself the stress of getting emotional and in most cases sexually involved with the wrong person.
