When we hear of empowerment, what is that one thing that comes to the mind?
For a number of people it is giving youths power and later stripping them of it one way or the other.
However, For us at #Stillirise it is giving voices to the youths
It is giving them power to break free from the chain of dependency
It is empowering them to empower others so it becomes like a chain reaction.
In our society today, the evils of unemployment and underemployment can not be overemphasized. Looking at the rates of cyber crimes and different forms of theft.
Something has to be done!!!
If 40% of youths in the country are unemployed then those percents and even more need to be empowered.
They say when you empower the youth, you empower a nation.
One of the goals of #stillirise is to fill up the lacuna created by the present economy by empowering the youths, catering for the needy and reaching out to the destitute in our own little way.
This is a charge and we have come to make the world a better place.
Join us today and let us make all the difference in the world. Together we can do better

I really really appreciate what you guys are doing, I’ve been seeing testimonies of people that have been helped from Twitter. It’s really difficult in times like this to have organizations willing to help without requesting for anything in return. More grease to your elbow.

Empowerment is a bold step in changing people’s life’s style when we talk about empowerment it means giving employees skills, resources, authority, opportunity, motivation, as well holding them responsible and accountable for outcomes of their actions, will contribute to their competence and satisfaction.Thus, Empowerment can still be define giving power to employees. Such empowerment triggers social mobilization, building of alliances and coalitions, increase in self-esteem, rise in levels of awareness, heightened consciousness, and confidence building among people so empowered.Just like Robert T Kiyosaki said “When I was young my father always gives me fish and when he is not around I had to starve my self until he came back so one day I asked him to teach me ever since that day I never starved” What I’m trying to say here is when u keep giving the needy ones money when your not around how would they survive,but once you enroll them into empowerment they won’t ask you rather they would use that opportunity to get their own.
